Rankin's teams of design engineers, utilising the latest structural design software coupled with years of practical experience in Zambia, enable the firm to provide the client with the most cost effective and environmentally appropriate concepts and designs.

Our services range from feasibility studies to complete design, quantification, cost estimation, tendering and contract management. In-house software is developed to suit customers particular needs and contracts are carefully packaged to ensure cost efficiency. Structural works have ranged from steel, to reinforced concrete and timber. Structures designed include multi-storey complexes, portal frames, shopping complexes, towers, retaining structures, etc

In addition, we carry out comprehensive geotechnical tests related to structural works.

Rankin has conducted rehabilitation project works totaling over US$50 million in the past five years alone. Rankin has particular experience in rehabilitation works at educational institutions, having provided services for the rehabilitation of over 30 different colleges and institutions within Zambia. In addition to structural rehabilitation, Rankin has expertise in rehabilitation of roads, water supply systems, dams and electrical installations.
